Chinese Students Abroad: A Mixed Reality Study
We are currently conducting research on how Chinese students in the San Francisco Bay Area use the Internet and mobile phones to become comfortable living in a new environment. The research includes a virtual ethnography of popular Chinese language bulletin boards, interviews with Chinese students, and journals that document behavior and feelings. Please click on the Flickr link to the left to view some images of our research process. Findings will be available by Fall 2007.
